Blair Coalition awards $1,500 in college scholarships

To continue the legacy of Rev. Robert Langford, the Blair Coalition of Churches awarded 15 scholarships to well-deserving college students in the amount of $100 each.

The students received their scholarship at the May 2026 Youth Program event held at The Rock Church.

Participants were motivated by guest speaker Christopher Hopkins, Sr. who encouraged everyone with these reminders:

• Don't just say "I think I can, say God says I can" and "With God, I know I can"!

• Don't let fear decide your future

• Small doesn't mean weak

• Keep moving when the climb gets hard
